Leadership
We Are Passionate About Driving
Stormwater Innovation.
In an industry dominated by a 2,000 year old design model, new ideas are more often stifled than adopted. Convergent was created specifically to change that dynamic. Convergent’s principals have decades of experience in developing and delivering problem solving technologies.
Although faced with numerous regulatory, distribution and cultural obstacles to stormwater innovation, Convergent believes that adopting new ideas quickly, and integrating the process of innovation into our stormwater regulation, product development and distribution channels is the only answer to our looming water crisis. The time for accepting the status quo, encouraging regulatory over-prescription, operating on the basis of minimum requirements and stifling innovation is past.
Drawing on years of experience and a diversity of partnerships, Convergent delivers best-in-class systems and services for stormwater management that exceed expectations and recognize that cost-effectiveness is a powerful catalyst for change.

David Batts | Co-Founder
Since 2006, I have been working at Construction EcoServices with a team of highly creative and innovative individuals to collectively change the way stormwater is managed in Houston, throughout the state of Texas, and now with the formation of Convergent Water Technologies, the rest of the country. Our unique perspective as both a product distributor, service provider/installer and maintenance company allows us to look at stormwater and the regulations that govern it through the lens of the designer, the contractor, and ultimately the developer or property manager. Before getting started on your next land plan or site development project, give us a call to discuss how we can help lower costs and raise compliance while offering the most innovative strategies available to meet regulatory requirements, increase lot yield and ultimately impact you or your clients bottom line.
Specialties: I am a LEED Accredited Professional, National Green Infrastructure Certification Program Trainer and specialize in Sustainable Site Design strategies and Low Impact Development. I challenge my team to look at every project through the eyes of the developer and the environment . How can we provide ecological benefits that result in immediate economic value to the property? We have shown the results on hundreds of projects. Let us work on yours.
